Finding Sophrosyne At Home

Hi everyone! Thanks for coming by.

My name
(σωφροσύνη) means "balance," among other things, and I certainly haven't had any for longer than I can remember. I've become all work and no play, and that's not who I want to be. This blog's one of the changes I'm making, to bring myself back to "sophrosyne" as my first rezday approaches.

Sophtopia will be just a journal of my life, a celebration of my family and friends, and my community. Lots of photos, some music - no marketing and no politics here!

I do have an agenda of sorts, which I can't deny. I'd like to show what a Digital Person's life is like, to allow atomic people and digital people alike to have some data to back up their opinions. You're free to think of me as escapist, as a role-player, as anything - but I'd like those opinions to be based on richer data than just a knowledge of Soph, Occasional Radical Polemicist. See Soph, Lover, Friend, Neighbor as well when you draw conclusions.

So, here's a photo from late last night: Gala and I came back to the Temptopia after an evening of dancing to Nicki's Carpe Electronica set at Club Reactor, and met up with Vidal, who'd been hanging with Azaiya Aeon...

Awesome idea, love. You had talked about this before but I didn't know if you were going to do it or not. Go you!

All work and no play is never a safe proposal. It's good to see you're restoring the balance. ::hugs::

Oh, brilliance! I'm glad to see this too, love. Not just because you've joined the Blogger side, mind! Nah, it'll do you good to split things up. I've found that therapy often works out pretty niely even if one can sometimes end up focussing on one blog more than the other, then switching back.

*Hugs the blog as though it were you*

Meeeew~ :: Gets shifty eyed, and sends a pounce at Sophy, since she has not seen her in too long. Pouts. But smiles too.::
Glad to see you've got something a little more personal going. ^^ All work and no play.. yeah, that does not really work out too well.. hehe. Gotta start poking at you more often.. cuz.. uhm.. I can. maybe. ::Shifty eyes some more. Waves.:: >.>
